At-Home Worship Resource

Over the last week, our team has had individuals testing positive for COVID-19. Out of an abundance of caution and safety for our church body and community we have decided to cancel our Sunday gathering tonight, April 18th, 2021. Please visit Redeemermn.com this evening for an at-home worship resource.

Below you will find our typical Sunday Gathering liturgy, but shortened and adapted for use with friends and family.

Call

- Read Psalm 126 Aloud

When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them." The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad. Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like streams in the Negeb! Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

- Call to Worship

Say together, "The Lord is Risen, He is Risen Indeed."

Confess

- Read Psalm 51:1-2 Aloud

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin!

Consecrate

- Sing: Before the Throne of God Above

1: Before the throne of God above I have a strong and perfect plea,

A great High Priest whose name is Love, Who ever lives and pleads for me.

My name is graven on his hands, My name is written on his heart;

I know that while in heav'n he stands No tongue can bid me thence depart, No tongue can bid me thence depart.

2: When Satan tempts me to despair And tells me of the guilt within,

Upward I look and see him there Who made an end of all my sin.

Because the sinless Savior died, My sinful soul is counted free;

For God the Just is satisfied To look on him and pardon me, To look on him and pardon me.

3: Behold him there! The risen Lamb, My perfect, spotless righteousness;

The great unchangeable "I AM," The King of glory and of grace!

One with himself I cannot die, My soul is purchased by his blood;

My life is hid with Christ on high, With Christ, my Savior and my God, With Christ, my Savior and my God.

- Read Ezra 8:15-36

Commune

- Sing Chorus and 1st Verse: We Will Feast in the House of Zion

We will feast in the house of Zion. We will sing with our hearts restored.

He has done great things, we will say together. We will feast and weep no more.

We will not be burned by the fire. He is the Lord, our God.

We are not consumed by the flood. Upheld, protected, gathered up.

We will feast in the house of Zion. We will sing with our hearts restored.

He has done great things, we will say together. We will feast and weep no more.

Commission

- Read Matthew 28:18-20 Aloud

Jesus came and said to his disciples, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
