1 Thessalonians 3:6-13
When I was younger in my faith I pictured Paul as a man whose heart was cold toward people. Always thinking, writing about and praising God such that he had no capacity left to think about people, or love, people. So consumed by God that he had no room left for his fellow man.
I do not know what led me to think such thoughts about our brother Paul. But I do know, over and over in our time together, whether in Philippians or Thessalonians, I have been continually moved by just how much Paul cared about people. He really cared about people. And here we have one of many examples of that.
