Sermon Text: Hebrews 1:1-4
Comparison can be an incredibly powerful tool when trying to explain the difference between two things, especially when one of the two is significantly more valuable than the other. In the first four verses of Hebrews the writer teaches us about "that word," and its deficiencies in relation to "this word." And at the heart of all these differences is the messenger of "this word" becoming the message, and that by doing so he fulfills all his creative and kingly purposes.
